Brewster's Millions (First published 1902) By George Barr McCutcheon Young Montgomery Brewster inherits million from his grandfather and shortly afterward another million from his uncle. But to inherit the larger sum, Brewster must spend every penny of his first million inheritance within a year and have no assets left. If he fails, he will be penniless. Unfortunately what seems like a fantasy soon becomes an incredibly difficult burden. There are strict conditions imposed under his uncle's will. Brewster must demonstrate good business sense which limit his charitable donations, gambling losses and tips to waiters or others.
